Peter Calcetas has more than 25 years of experience in Restoration Engineering, Structural Engineering and Advanced Construction Materials. He is a Professional Engineer, with licenses granted to him by the Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO) and L’Or …Peter Calcetas has more than 25 years of experience in Restoration Engineering, Structural Engineering and Advanced Construction Materials. He is a Professional Engineer, with licenses granted to him by the Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO) and L’Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ). Peter is a very active member of The Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE) who have elevated him to Fellow of the Society for the consistent demonstration of Excellence in Civil Engineering. He continues to contribute to professional practice, environmental sustainability and standards through work as the CSCE Regional VP (Ontario), Mentorship in the PEO, Canadian Standards Association (CSA) and the Ontario Society for Professional Engineers (OSPE). His specialties include High and Ultra High Performance Concrete design and construction, existing building and infrastructure re-engineering, and project management. His experience includes the design and manufacture of facades, buildings, infrastructure elements and physical security/ defense applications. Peter is a core contributor to the latest CSA A23.1-19’s (i.e. The Concrete Standard) Annex U for Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC) and is an instructor for The National Lecture Series on UHPC for the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering. Highlight projects include: the 1st Large Format UHPC Façade for University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management and the Winter Olympics Cauldron at Whistler, BC. At McIntosh Perry: Peter heads the Greater Toronto Area professional practice for Project Management and Restoration Engineering including, high and low sloped roofs, building envelope: doors, windows and facades design /replacement, reinforced concrete parking garage structures and hard surface renewal for low, medium and high rise residential, commercial and institutional buildings.
